ONE: Travel south over
the Bombay Hills into lush pastoral land of the Waikato
River Valley. We cross the Mamaku Ranges and arrive at Rainbow Springs
a nature Park where you will see native New Zealand trees, plants,
bird and reptiles, We continue our
journey through Rotorua and visit Te
Puia (Whakarewarewa
Thermal Reserve and Maori Arts & Craft Institute
)
for a guided tour through this thermal area with its famous Puhutu
Geyser. After Te Puia you are taken to
your accommodation. This evening you will be fully entertained. Enjoy a
night of truly authentic, traditional culture with an hour long Maori
Concert followed by a superb New Zealand Hangi The
food is cooked in the traditional manner and presented in
buffet style.
DAY TWO: See Taupo in a day. Visit Wai-O-Tapu, a thermal wonderland of colour and geothermal activity. See Lady Knox Geyser erupting 10.15am daily and the world famous Champagne Pool. See New Zealand's largest Mud Lake and Wairakei Geothermal Valley where thermal steam is converted to electricity. Enjoy an awesome spectacle at the Huka Falls, where the runoff from the Lake Taupo enters the mighty Waikato River. Spend some time in Taupo to reflect, relax and view the largest lake in the Southern Hemisphere, Lake Taupo.

activities to meet your needs. We have provided free time on the FINAL DAY of your tour for you to choose what you would like to do.

Option H1 Wai-O-Tapu/Waimangu - A thermal wonderland with vivid colours and geothermal activity. See Lady Knox Geyser erupting at 10:15am daily and the world famous Champagne Pool, followed by a visit to Waimangu Valley This trip is for people who are interested in scenery and geothermal activity $185 per person |

Option H2 Lake Taupo - Visit Wai-O-Tapu before travelling to Lake Taupo, the largest crater lake in the Southern Hemisphere This tour includes Huka Falls, Wairakei Thermal area and other sights en-route. $175 per person |  |

Option H3 Whitewater Rafting - Experience the thrill and excitement of whitewater rafting in one of the rivers near Rotorua. This adventure is not for the faint hearted, but no experience is necessary. You will be picked up from your accommodation at 9am and returned to Tourism Rotorua by 12:30 giving you time to have lunch before your return journey to Auckland via the Waitomo Caves $95 per person |  |

Option H5 The Buried Village: In 1886 Mt Tarawera erupted changing the landscape of this region burying a number of villages and the Pink & White Terraces. The buried village is on the site of Te Wairoa Village which has been excavated. The landscape which has been created has immense beauty and a visit, is your opportunity to see the area both before and after the disaster, as there are many photographs of the region prior to the eruption on display $80 per person |

Tourism - where you will meet your Greenworld Coach
After your morning activity we will meet you at 2pm and continue our journey via Arapuni Hydro Dam to the Waitomo Caves where a guide takes you through the Limestone formed Glow-worm Caves where thousands of tiny phosphorescent lights shine over your head.
From Waitomo we return to Auckland and take you back to your hotel arriving at approximately. 8.00pm
